Residential Pest Control for Portland, Vancouver, and the Oregon Coast
Call before noon and an A&A technician is at your home the next business day. Your services are warrantied in between visits. Family run since 1984.
How Does A&A's Residential Pest Control Work?
A&A protects your home from the outside in, stopping pests before they get inside, and coming back if any slip through. Every visit is an inspection, a targeted treatment, and prevention in between, what we call A&A's Comprehensive Pest Solution, from a one-time treatment to year-round protection. It all starts with identifying the pest and the source of the problem, because that decides how your technician treats it and what keeps it from coming back.
Pet-Friendly Pest Management for Your Whole Family
Pets are family at A&A, and we treat your home with them in mind. Your technician considers your pets when choosing professional products and deciding where and how to apply them, so the only step on your end is keeping kids and pets off a treated area until it dries.

Residential Pest Control FAQs
Can I get a free pest control estimate by phone?
Absolutely! In most cases, we can provide free residential estimates over the phone after asking a few questions about the pest, the level of activity, and the size of your home. We also provide a complimentary site inspection for any multi-family or commercial property looking for ongoing pest control services, so we can properly assess your needs and develop a customized pest management program with accurate pricing and recommendations.
What should I expect during a treatment if I have kids or pets?
Your family's safety is always our priority, even the furry, four-legged members. Before every service, your technician will explain the treatment plan, answer any questions, and review any necessary preparation instructions. We use products that are registered for professional pest control use and apply them according to the product label and industry best practices. In many cases, children and pets simply need to remain out of the treatment area during the application and until the product has dried. Every treatment is tailored to your specific pest concerns, and we'll always let you know when it's safe to re-enter treated areas.
Should I choose monthly or quarterly pest control?
It comes down to how much pest pressure your home sees. Quarterly service brings your technician out once a season, every three months, which keeps year-round protection in place for typical pressure. Monthly visits suit heavier or recurring activity, since your technician can inspect, re-treat, and adjust more often. Our home bundles run on quarterly or bi-monthly schedules, and we'll recommend the frequency that fits your property.
Are pest problems between visits covered?
Yes. On a recurring schedule, your services are warrantied in between visits, so if a covered pest issue comes up before your next service, we come back and handle it. One condition: documented conducive conditions left unaddressed, like overgrown vegetation against the house, can affect coverage, and your service report always spells them out.
Will I need to leave my home during a treatment?
Usually not. Most residential treatments are applied while you go about your day, and your technician will tell you in advance if a specific service requires the home to be empty for a while. If preparation is needed, the Single Family prep sheet for your service spells out each step before we arrive.
Does A&A treat my whole yard?
No, not the whole yard. Our exterior service covers the structure and the ground up to 5 feet around it.
